                        Play something you know

Get up early (10 min)

Without amplification do the Lydian Exercise found after the following appendix, continuously as in non-stop for 5 minutes.  If you make an error, ignore it and keep playing.  Try increasing your speed once you feel you are error free and you do not need to look a the exercise sheet

            Throughout the day

Keep an ear open for some song that has a guitar sound or rhythm you like, listen to and identify the progressions in your head as it plays.

A minimum of a ˝ hour scheduled practice daily (30 min)

Work on assignment, play something new – try that song you heard, or at least try to invent something creative. You are at the stage, right now, in which your main goal is to produce clean notes.  Speed doesn’t come overnight.
